I was planning on "backdating" my character's stats to what they would have been at 1st level, then doing/determining stat bumps and feats from there. So not a complete rebuild.

I don't have the book with me here at work, but isn't there a hard ceiling on abilities of 20?

Re: Rex (v5E)
As an aside, I would love to wargame some of these campaigns against the orcs & humanoid masses using Hordes of the Things, a simple fast-play fantasy wargame. If there is interest, I'll do a crash-painting-program to get something field-able...

Re: Converting Characters to 5e
Not that it matters much for this conversion, but prestige classes allow you more options to do an off-character. FREX Elemental Savant cleric character rather than arcane. Or even for the latter a Sorcerer rather than a Wizard character.

Converting Characters to 5e
So I am thinking about old characters, and converting them to 5e. Especially with some of the Nukemcon adventures we were talking about. So Baldwin came up in conversation, as a potential candidate for the High Level Blackrazors event. He is especially difficult because he took the Elemental Savant ...

Re: Chapter 2: In Search of the Unknown, Part 2
Hey guys, I'm working on cleaning up the missing portions of the Obsidian Frontier Campaign Sagas. This is one of their chapters. Here's whats posted so far: Second half (and end) of the Caverns of Quasqueton. There was a confrontation with adventurous goblins and an enraged minotaur. Anyone have a...

Re: Who would you bring out of retirement?
Just as a comment... if we plan on an extra-planar adventure (Astral, City of Sigil from Planescape, etc.), we could mix and match characters from BOTH Greyhawk (Blackrazors) and Golarion (Second Darkness), as the planes would be a crossroads between prime material game worlds. Yeah but since Cuthe...

Re: Who would you bring out of retirement?
I think my highest level character is Gaiseric "Scrappy" the Rapscallion of Greyhawk. IIRC he is 15th level. I would prefer to play Baldwin "The Mighty K'sograh." I'm not sure his level, but less than Gaiseric's, but still in the teens.

Ordered Dungeon Saga
Just as an FYI with all the hype about the new Warhammer Quest edition, I decided to pick up Mantic's Dungeon Saga (it was only a little over $60 on ebay, compared to the $150 WQ is going to retail for...). For those that do not know, this is a similar game to Heroquest/Warhammer Quest, done back wh...
