Terrain

Post by Lars Porsenna »

So one of the things we really need to exercize in this campaign IMHO is terrain. To that affect I picked up some "smooth" styrofoam balls at Hobby Lobby in 4" configurations. So do people think it would be better to keep them as-is (we'll have 2 planets then) or saw in half for 4? They also had 8" and 10" foam bowls too, that'd make good gas giants...

I agree, we need terrain for the campaign. I don't think we need more than two planets at a time though. We need asteroids though. :)

Well the idea is I could paint them differently to represent different planets... :)

Cut em in half and paint them to represent the major systems. Bob is right though - we need asteroids. Thoughts on that?

Yes, Spraypaint some small styrofoam balls. The spraypaint causes styrofoam to shrivel up.
