Any of the other non-PF days would work. Here's the thing though: Clare has been working at her Dad's friend's deli, and the reason I had to cancel is because she was asked to come in and work a few hours late afternoon-early evening. Now I would be rather gaming, but we need the money, and I have to do the "responsible" thing and make sure she can bring in some cash. This might be an ongoing thing, so tentatively I can be available the next "boardgaming" night, for now.

I may be able to attend this Sunday the 4th. Zack's parade was rescheduled for that day, so a little unsure. How 'bout you, Tom?
Today's not looking good for me. My neighbor-sitter has been doing relief work all across NJ (and spending the night at random facilities rather than returning to PA) and is pretty exhausted. If she brings it up, I may be a last minute join, but I think my asking her today may be extremely poor timing.

Damon, can you do our battle Thursday night at your place? That's 11/8. I could be available around 6-6:30ish.

Yes, I could do that. be aware I don't get home until 6:30 as it is, so closer to 7 would be better.

Battle Results

Participants: Decados (Bob), Hawkwood (Damon)
Scenario: Towering Inferno
Results:
We each started with one ship and we each brought a Destroyer. I chose my flagship, the Trithereon. On turn 4, I was close enough to unleash a full broadside against his destroyer which was, well, destroyed. For several turns, I got to fly around with no other ships until Damon's second destroyer showed up to the battle. The Trithereon took very slight damage before the 12 turn limit expired.

Resources gained:
The Trithereon gained 3 XP (destroying ship of lower point value: 1xp, Being on the winning side of the battle: 2xp)
Two Strategic Resources Gained: Devil's Tear and Glassworks
Resource and Refit Points Gained:
10 base RR pts, +10 for capturing a strategic target this turn, +5 for winning 1 battle, +2 for the Glassworks = 27 total RR points

Edit: A more complete reading of the campaign rules reveals that you don't get +10 RR points per strategic target taken, just +10 for taking at least one in a turn. Like the card and energy you get in Risk 2210. I've adjusted my point total downward accordingly.

Tom and I still need to do our turn 1 battle - I can tell you that much.

I had been holding off re. Sunday due to a paintball thing I was deciding whether to attend or not. I am leaning heavily towards not, so I might be available for an early start to gaming (4-5pm?), if that might work for Tom. (I know he had kid sitter issues.)

Sure, let's try for it if you don't mind bringing your fleet. I doubt I can get my neighbor over before 5pm if she's working, but I'll post here as soon as I know. Regardless, I know I can get there at 5pm if not 4, so we might be able to start our turns until the group arrives and Pathfinder is a go, and at worst, take a picture of the game board and write down stats (if not too complex), or call it and decide a victor.

Cool I'll plan for a 5pm sharp arrival, if that's okay with Ken. If something changes, text or call me at - erm never mind, this forum isn't private. See my cell number in the contact info thread.

They basically maneuvered, but didn't fire any shots. It's a 1500 point battle, so it's going to take a full night in its own right. We did get to use Tom's new battle boards and man, they are a thing of beauty! They also show part of our problem; the battlefield just wasn't big enough to really have space to maneuver. Tom's boards fix that. Very, very cool.
