Damon,

I need a modifier from you for Hazat vs. Hawkwood at Spearpoint. I'm not seeing it in my nukehavoc@gmail.com inbox, and I think you missed it because you rolled up a scenario rather than fleet points for that encounter.

Can you email or post to the forum? I've already chosen my modifier.

So basically we're waiting for Damon to get back from vacation. Obviously Lance and Tom can battle it out whenever they like, but Bob and I are in a holding pattern.

Damon,

The ball is in your court. You need to decided what you want to do about our fight -- concede or battle it out.

Lance, Tom -- I'll leave it to you to figure out when you're having your fight. What due date do we want to have for Turn 1 -- does September 16th work?

To keep things moving, I propose that if a battle is not resolved by the Turn End date that the fight is declared a draw and neither side gets the contested resource. Does that work?

That works.

Damon, you fighting me? Fighting Ken? Fighting no one?

Definitely fighting Ken. I am also fighting you. I cannot game anytime this remaining week (playing Warhammer 40K on Saturday, an Apocalypse game which means I bring everything I own...so a BIG game), next week is possible, especially if someone comes to my house for their game. The only day that would be right out is Wednesday.

Damon.

This week isn't looking great, but I'll see what I can do. Tuesday might work.

So ... who's the attacker, and who's the defender in my scenario with Damon?
4) Ken (Hazat) trying for Spearpoint, opposed by Damon (Hawkwood)

Objective: Spearpoint
Scenario: Recon Run
Fleet Roll: 250 4 [Roll: 3, +3 Damon -2 Ken]
It assumes two forces, one of which is the defender and one of which is the attacker. The attacker gets 1/2 the points of the defender, which in this scenario means you've got 125 points!

Since the system is unoccupied, there isn't a clear-cut defender. If we assume that -- by winning initiative -- I move in first, then that means I'm the defender and Damon is the attacker.

However if we assume that by going first I'm automatically the attacker, then Damon's the defender.

What do you guys think?
