WoW Monster Index

Post by NukeHavoc »

Anyone know of a web site that indexes the various monsters in WoW? I'm working on a column about creative monster naming in WoW (and carrying that over into pen-and-paper RPGs) for Nuketown. I need some names, but can't remember any of them.

The jest of my article is that nothing in WoW is ever "just an orc" -- it'll always be a Black Rock Warsinger or something like that, which I think is one of the ways that WoW does a great job of world building.

I'll try to remember to bring my strategy guide tonight. It has the "expanded" names of each mob in a zone. You're right though - it's never just a scorpid - it's a Savagetail Scorpid or something. :)

Murlocs aren't so bad - as pets...
