Certainly thought provoking, but way too personal and subjective of a list. Sorry, but ranking a generic party drawing game in with the likes of Catan and Puerto Rico is just absurd to me.

When Puerto Rico (at #1) has received over 19,000 ratings, then I think superlatives like "Greatest" are more justified.

Sorry, not hacking on you Jon - these "top X" lists always get on my nerves. Three magazine editors sitting in an office spitballing a list just isn't authoritative enough for me, but it's amazing how many such lists are published every year.

By comparison, their vaunted "Who? What? Where?" drawing game is sitting pretty at #1900 on BGG. "Say Anything" has been rated 860 times, but doesn't even make the top 300, etc., etc.

My blood pressure aside, the Brainz list is mostly great stuff.

Yeah, sorry, I figured there'd be a bit of that reaction. ;)

I agree, it's quite the haphazard list, even if it's got some good stuff on it.
