Maybe, maybe not. If 4th Edition is a radical departure from 3rd Edition, I could certainly see a third-party company coming up and saying "we've got you covered" and continuing to publish 3.5-compatible material. Would it have the D&D brand? No. But neither did 99& of what was published during the 3.x error. The loss of the d20 logo (which Wizards can pull) is more of a blow, but even then I think that you'll have a diehard contingent of 3.x players, just like with 1E and 2E.EvilGenius wrote:Which would mean that no OGL company will be making "AD&D" (for example).
