CLANG is a sword-fighting simulator ... a very advanced sword-fighting simulator. If you've read Snow Crash, then you know that Stephenson is big on sword fighting (re. Hiro Protagonist) but over the last few years he's become obsessed with the subject as he tries to recreate (and then describe) Western swordplay.

Don't play coy and act like you didn't know... It's not like I referenced something really obscure and deviant like cornerhead from anglebanging. I think Damon's picture accompanies that definition
