Arrow Executive Producer Talks Atom Spinoff Show

Post by NukeHavoc »

Finally watched the mid-season finale of Arrow. Holy crap that was good! And in related news...

I wasn't familiar with Atom, but I like that Palmer's on the path to being a good guy -- I was concerned he was going to be another bad guy in the wings.

And maybe an animated show starring Vixen, explicitly set in the Arrow-verse: http://io9.com/the-cw-is-thinking-about ... socialflow

I'm excited for an Atom spinoff, as I enjoy the character. I also like Brandon Routh from his work as Superman, to his character on Chuck. It will be good to see him get his own show.

Holy God they killed Ollie!?!!!?????!??!???????!!!!
Shit!! I did NOT see that coming!!!
I am totally impressed that they went that route, because it either means they're going to introduce the Lazurus Pits or some other kind of resurrection, which is just awesome for a live action show! :)

Also, it made Ras Al Ghul WAY more badass!!
Another daring escape for the intrepid Spaceman Spiff!

A lot of people complained about Ra's Al Ghul's portrayal and the actor portraying him. IMHO I thought they did a great job.

The only downside now is that they say Arsenal is going to get more screentime. Dunno, but not really impressed by the actor playing him....

Yeah, I did not see Arrow's "death" coming, and I look forward to seeing how they resolve the cliffhanger (cliffsplatter?)

I can't say that Arsenal's really wow'd me, but I love the fact that they actually *have* Arsenal as a character, and spent so much time developing him into the Arrow's sidekick.

I think Roy is fine. They did a LOT of build up with him but now he's in a good place. I'm looking forward to the back half of the season and seeing everyone else step up. I anticipate a lot of Diggle and Arsenal, obviously, but also the Atom is going to make an appearance and Sarah is finally going to become the full-on Black Canary. Hopefully we see Wildcat hitting the streets too. And if they can bring back Huntress to help out, I swear to god I'll probably start crying from joy! :D
