Xbox 360: Orange Box?

Post by erilar »

Have a question for the other 360 owners. Are you guys interested in Orange Box?

If you're not familiar with the product, Valve will very shortly be releasing a compilation containing the following games (new releases marked w/ a "*"):
  • Team Fortress 2 *
    Half-Life 2
    HL2: Episode 1
    HL2: Episode 2 *
    Portal *
The reason I'm asking you guys is that it's being released for both PC and 360. If you all are not interested in playing TF2 on 360, then I'll probably just get this for the PC. IMO, first person shooters are best played via mouse and keyboard, with the incredibly well-designed Halo series as a notable exception. Plus, I can't always be hogging the main TV, so it's good to have a few games in progress on my PC as well as the 360.

I haven't yet played HL2, and it's supposed to be among the best FPSs ever, so this boxed set is an amazing value for me. ($45 for the PC if preordered.)

I'm interested, but likely won't get it until December when I have some birthday cash.
