The Discovered Story, Thus Far …

1) The PCs were recruited at the beginning of their adventuring careers by a Silver Dragon (in human form) named Quirinseyru.

2) The PCs undertook many missions for Quirinseyru in the Bandit Kingdoms, the Felreev Forest, the Barrens, the Ruins of Tenh, the Theocracy of the Pale, and the barbarian lands of the Tilvanot Peninsula.

3) The PCs included:
.... a. Balisar (a blue dragonborn arcane trickster)
.... b. Bannock (a human Battlemaster)
.... c. Brigga (a dwarven cleric of Moradin)
.... d. Erk (a gnomish warlock with an unknown patron)
.... e. Gwendolyn (human daughter of Bern Haupt, class ?)
.... f. Jareth (an elven fighter, brother of Quarion)
.... g. Mordai (a tiefling cleric of Rudd)
.... h. Naziah (a human bard)
.... i. Onarra (an elven druid with a twin sister, Miette, who sometimes accompanied the PCs)
.... j. Quarion (an elven paladin, brother of Jareth)

4) The PCs started building their own strongholds

5) Some PCs had henchmen
.... a. Erk’s henchman Rivold
.... b. Mordai’s henchman Erdin

6) At some point, Gwendolyn was kidnapped by an Effreeti

7) The PCs seemed to lack appropriate planar travel magics, but Erk convinced them that he could perform a ritual that would enable them to open a portal to the Plane of Elemental Fire, very near Gwendolyn’s location.
.... a. The catch was that the ritual required the PCs to sacrifice a small portion of their souls in order to open the portal
.... b. Everyone agreed except for Naziah
.... c. Naziah was subdued and forced to participate against his will
.... d. Erk had a hideous sword that stole a part of everyone’s soul

8 ) The Ritual apparently involved stealing a part of all of the PCs souls with Erk’s sword, then using that weapon to damage a magical item (which turned out to be a Well of Many Worlds).
.... a. The PCs did not know what the Well of Many Worlds was and didn’t recognize it when used in The Ritual.
.... b. Something didn’t go right, and when damaged, the Well of Many Worlds caused a magical catastophe which exploded the top of Erk’s tower into other planes of existence.
.... c. The PCs were also initially blasted into other planes.

9) At some point after that, the PCs apparently were back and able to open a portal to the Plane of Elemental Fire to attempt to rescue Gwendolyn.
.... a. Various PCs memories seem to suggest that some time had passed in between The Catastrophe and when they actually attempted The Rescue.
.... b. You are not sure how long but probably weeks rather than years.
.... c. You don’t remember specifics but you do remember that you failed to rescue Gwendolyn.

10) The PCs remember their personalities starting to change after The Ritual and The Rescue.
.... a. PCs became impatient, angry, judgemental, more selfish and seemed to scheme more between themselves

11) A new PC joined the group, a half orc named Thulik. He was some sort of warrior.

12) The PCs were ashamed of having given up a part of their souls and kept that hidden from Quirinseyru.

13) Quirinseyru noticed the PCs personalities starting to change but did not know why.

14) The PCs started going on missions of their own, not involving Quirinseyru.

15) Some time passes and the PCs seemingly turn to evil and selfish deeds.
.... a. Bannock, though much harsher and prone to violence than before, resisted falling to evil ways.
.... b. Naziah retained a true and pure heart and believed his former companions could be saved.
.... c. Thulik was largely unknown but he did side with Bannock and Naziah against the former companions.

16) The rest of the PCs started constructing their own strongholds (mainly out of paranoia)

17) During a mysterious mission to the Feywild, Jareth runs afoul of a magical trap which permanently turns him into a human.

18) Quirinseyru proposed cloning the PCs as a failsafe for the more dangerous missions they were going on.
.... a. The PCs were cloned and their clones were stored at their strongholds.

19) Bannock revealed the PCs secret to Quirinseyru, telling him about The Ritual and about all of the PCs giving up a piece of their souls (except Naziah, whose contribution was involuntary).

20) Bannock reveals that Erks mysterious patron is called The Master, and he appartently organized The Ritual.

21) Quirinseyru researches a method of turning Jareth back into an elf, hoping to help heal his soul.

22) Quirinseyru begins to collect the clones of his protegees and moving them back to his own stronghold for safekeeping.

23) Bannock launches a plan to help turn his companions back to the path of virtue. Balisar and Naziah leave to infiltrate Jareth’s tower and retrieve his Moonblade. Bannock joins his other companions with the intention of subduing a few of them.

24) Jareth discovers Balisar and Naziah infiltrating his tower and kills them.

25) The evil PCs discover that Quirinseyru has moved their clones to his stronghold.

26) The PCs confront Quirinseyru.
.... a. Summoned elementals and a genie kill Mordai
.... b. Brigga kills Bannock
.... c. Thulik gets away
.... d. Quirinseyru kills all of the remaining PCs
.... e. With his final act, Erk manages to kill Quirinseyru.

27) As he dies, Quirinseyru expends the last of his power to fog the PCs memories as they awaken in their clone bodies, allowing them a chance to ‘start over’ and make different choices, hopefully restoring the PCs inherently good natures.

28) The PCs awaken in their clone bodies, confused about where they are and what has happened. They all flee separately and those whose clones had been moved to Quirinseyru’s stronghold find shelter in small towns throughout the Ruins of Tenh.

29) Not remembering their former lives, the PCs embark on new adventuring careers, influenced by events that they do not remember to choose different adventuring professions.

30) The PCs in the Ruins of Tenh are pressed into militia service for both the barbarian forces of Stonehold and the Blessed Army of the Theocracy.

31) The two armies face off outside of Oxton.
