The PCs made it back to Farweald safely, frequently travelling through light snow squalls. When they approached Farweald they could hear the familiar sound of the town's saw mill in full production and when Farweald came into view it was apparent why. There were several parts of the wooden palisade wall that had been fully replaced, creating a marked contrast between the older wall and the freshly cut replacement logs. You were approaching town from the south, so you also noted that the temporary tent camp outside of the south east corner of town was still there, though many of the tents had been replaced with small wooden structures.

The south gate to town was closed and guarded by a guardsman you didn't recognize, but who knew you by sight and shouted and waved when you came into view. By the time you got to the walls, the gate had been opened and you could see the industry inside of town.

The PCs were directed to check in with Constable Tierney now that they were back. Along the way to the Farweald jail, surprised townsfolk gathered to welcome all of you back, and in particular, several asked if Quarion was going to be in town for a few days at least to attend to various sickness and injuries afflicting people.

At the Constable's office, the PCs caught up on the goings on in town. They found out the following:

1) The reinforcements that Bannock had sent for have arrived back in town.
2) The people of Farweald are a little hesitant about such openly, righteously religious folk in town. Townsfolk have mostly refused healing services from the newcomers.
3) The small group of Pelorites was very surprised at the large tiefling population and there were a few misguided attempts at smiting/exorcism. The rest of the Farweald population strongly backed the tieflings, though, which caused confusion among the Pelorites.
.... a) Beltane, the tiefling priestess of Trithereon, has verbally clashed with the Pelorites on more than one occasion, but nothing has escalated beyond that.

Not all of the adventurers sent out by Bannock made it back to town. This is what happened to them:

Master Bund – stayed in Rookroost to setup mercantile contracts to provide supplies to Farweald and provide a market for treasure recovered by the PCs.

Minayn found it difficult to travel to the more populous regions of the Flanaess and disappeared from the party sometime before they entered Furyondy, leaving only a note apologizing for leaving the party and wishing them well.

Rhael, the Humble, stayed with Master Bund in Rookroost but quickly fell afoul of dangerous sorts and was killed when caught cheating at cards.

Jorius completed the mission to Furyondy and has been fascinated to spend time with the Pelorites, learning much about their faith. On the return trip to Farweald, Jorius formally adopted the faith of Pelor, though he is still unsure if he should be a paladin or a cleric.
Upon returning to Farweald, Jorius has been good naturedly proselytizing about the faith of Pelor, which has caused some friction with the untrusting Farweald folk.

Kirrith successfully navigated the expedition to Furyondy and back, becoming close to Rill along the trip. She appreciates his fatalistic attitude and his determination to carry on despite inevitable doom. Kirrith tries to minimize her contact with the Pelorites, and would often scout a little bit ahead of the group on the journey.

Rill, the Survivor has completed the mission to Furyondy and returned to Farweald. He has formed quite an attachment to Kirrith, who seems to return his feelings. Rill appreciates Kirrith’s natural inclination to act decisively, which takes the pressure off of Rill to lead. He also appreciates Kirrith’s natural inclination to solve problems quickly and … permanently.

Rill doesn’t mind the Pelorites and has spent time strategizing how to best utilize their abilities in combat and how to integrate them into an effective military unit. Back in Farweald, Rill has offered to work with Constable Tierney on repairing Farweald’s defenses. Of all of the Reinforcements, Rill has the best relations with the Farweald folk. Rill doesn’t speak much and has a gloomy disposition which commends him to the Farweald folk.

Brion, the Bodyguard, left the expedition when they reached the Nyr Dyv, where he took a ship headed home, to Greyhawk city.

Gimble Glittertoes accompanied the expedition to Furyondy, then parted ways to make his way back down to the domain of Obsidian Bay.

Kurath of Kord accompanied the expedition as far as Rookroost, where he joined a small group of snow barbarians headed east and north, back into the Thillonrian Peninsula.
