Hextorite Shrine

Post by Jonkga »

In Ken's recent adventure, we fought Skin Kites in the watch tower of the old Hextorite Shrine in OB. We learned that the city would be auctioning off the property soon.

This strikes me as an important event for the Blackrazors, especially the old guard who have fought the Knights of the Iron Nation, and may serve to draw those folks, or their agents, to the city.

Seems like fodder for a Nuke Em Con adventure...

Seems to me the A Team should pool their money, buy the land, raze the temple ruins, and build a big, kickass tavern with a shrine to Kord in the back, beer pit and all. :D

If he can afford it. Methinks that others with very deep pockets might also be interested in the property...

No, he just wants the stone. After all he sold it.

Damon, its about the resale value...

I know, but he might not be able to afford it, if others are similarly interested.

The Hieroneans and the Invincibles Guild might have a strong interest in obtaining this land. I'm sure that they get buccu brownie points for pulling down a Hextorite shrine block by block and turning the land into something more beneficial. :)

To be honest, my plan here wasn't to do anything A-Team worthy with this event. We've already had two arcs involving the Hextorite Temple, and the stuff there is really and truly dead.

Which isn't to say that there couldn't be some sort of a bidding war unfolding around the building, but I'm not planning any major conflicts around it. Basically, I'd rather wrap-up some other outstanding A-Team storylines then to revisit this one again.

Just because that wasn't your plan doesn't mean it can't happen...
