A Week of Free RPGs at DriveThruRPG.com

Post by NukeHavoc »

DriveThruRPG is giving away a bunch of free PDFs this week as part of a Thanksgiving special:

http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/thanksgiveaway.php

It's a mishmash of stuff; if you look through the different days you'll find a Dungeoncrawl Classic, d6 Powers (super heroes using the old West End Star Wars engine), Runequest, Twilight 2000 (special attention Damon!) revised Tome of Horrors, Fading Suns Players Companion, and Conan the roleplaying Game (pocket Version).

That's just the stuff that caught my eye; there's more there.

Very cool...

You know (all), if you download the Twilight 2000 game, we could have a one-off or short session game like we did with BSG and the like...THAT would be a change of pace!

Damon.

I'm up for it. Last time I played Twlight 2000 was in, oh, 8th grade I think? (circa 1986). I definitely plan on getting the PDF, for nostalgic reasons if nothing else.

Heh. Note to Nate: one of the free downloads to day is supplemental material for Dreadmire, Randy Richard's D&D source book. :)

Just a reminder, Twilight 2000 is available for free download from RPGDriveThru today:

Actually, I guess it's RPG Now; they merge so I don't know what the official name is.

They've also got Thrilling Tales, which is a d20 Modern supplement for running pulp games (not that I'd give up Savage Worlds, but it might be a good read).

There's also RuneQuest, which uses a modified version of the Basic Role-Playing System that powers Call of Cthulhu.

T2K D/L'ed. If anyone misses it let me know and I'll get it to you.

I can't believe you passed up Hot Dudes 01, Ken! (WTF??!?)

And with this post, Lance demonstrates why we should make all the forums private ... :)
