I was in a seminar in 2005 at GenCon and heard him speak with Bob Bledsaw (Judge's Guild). Very surreal being in the room with Dave. Still passionate about the game and the fun he had with gaming.
I should have gotten my Blackmoor book signed by him as the line was long. He was enjoying talking to all the gamers. At one point, he made a reference that he never would have thought he would have been famous like a rock star for his gaming coontributions.
