Batman: Arkham Asylum - Spoilery Discussions

Post by erilar »

Fought Bane last night - was super fun. I was having a hard time fighting Bane and Joker's goons, until I figured out that I could goad Bane into charging through them and squishing half of them for me. :D

Also found the Batcave last night, and I'm exploring around inside the Mansion now. Killer Croc said "booga booga" at me through a door. Man, I'm scared of having to fight him...

Yeah, they really nailed the atmosphere in that game. And, I thought the did a great job of making the fights different enough depending on who you were fighting, without having to re-do the whole combat system (which is awesome).

I'll say, the toughest thing for me, like you pointed out, was not to just slug through combats, but challenge myself to "think like Batman" and figure out how to make it through the fight with what I could do and what I knew or could learn about my opponents. Just great!
