Death of a Mandalorian

Post by Jonkga »

So, everyone who was at Friday's session knows this, but to fill the rest of you in: My Mandalorian character, Verro Vahn, died in the battle to capture the flagship.

Or, so I thought at the time. I had forgotten about his personal shield. Since at least one of his wounds was from a blaster shot, the shield would have actually kept him from dropping.

Which is good, as I like this character.

However, I had already decided he was dead and I was going to bring in a new Mando. To that end, I've already come up with a concept that I really like.

So, even though Verro might not have actually died, I think I am going to have a new guy on Friday.

My general concept is Noble/Soldier (with mostly Noble levels). The idea is basically to take the talents that buff the party by providing attack/defense bonuses, etc. rather than being an individual standout in combat. If I have the feats for it, I'll probably also go the dual wielding pistols route, as well. I'll post a mock up when I get one done.

Cool man - it will be good RP to have a CO in charge of our soldiers! Sir, yes sir! :D

Just a suggestion, but it might be useful to take training in Use COmputers, as I don't think anyone actually took that (I ran out of "slots" and IIRC bob just has a good score), and we could probably use that...

I haven't been designing anything with a computer hacker in mind... Bob has just been asking for hacker level computer use checks :P

Damon, I am actually trained in and have skill focus in, Use Computers. I think my score is 18 (withOUT the requisitioned Computer Interface Visor). :)

ps, the version of the character on the website is not the current version. I re-tooled a little before my first playing session.

Bob, I thought that was the reason you "requisitioned" the visor? Otherwise...

Nope. Requisitioned the visor because it's not super expensive and it gives a nice bonus to your check (+5, maybe).
