Spending the Year Dead for Tax Reasons

Post by NukeHavoc »

Ok, maybe not. Zil is now up at the Silvelode Mine in Loch Murdon, and got slaughtered by a swarm of overzealous kobolds (yeah, those 12-13 guys aren't so tough ... when you encounter them alone).

So my body's just going to hang out there for a while until we have a chance to game together and I can recover it. :)

Guess we'll just have to call him Hotblack from now on! :)

I'm planning on playing tonight, so let me know. Prob starting between 8 and 9. Schultz owes those specific kobolds some payback as well (he's been mining there infrequently), so I'm all for it! I can even resurrect you - I've never had an opportunity to use that power yet. :)

I managed to fight my way past the kobolds to get the quest item; it's a lot easier when you pick them off individually, rather than causing them to swarm. :)

I'm back down in Redridge now, where I'll be working until you guys are ready to head out. One mission I would like to do before we leave is the "Defias escort" mission in Westfall.

Urabus and Quendaran will probably want to do that quest too, if we plan on running Deadmines at some point, which we should. That probably means we have to do all the other Kill X Defias Creeps quests as prereqs though, huh? I guess they will be easy at our level at least.

Maybe to make it more fun, the Wetlands run could be completed by the three of us lvl 19's instead of an Erilar and/or Tarrek escort. If we get in a Crocolisk furball, the three of us together might be able to actually handle it! :)

I really hope I can play tonight, but don't know yet. I fucking hate finishing sheetrock. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I think I've finished most of those; I just did the one with the 15 highwaymen (fortunately I had help). But I'm more than happy to help you guys finish whatever quests you need.

That'd work. Just to recap, we're talking about finishing off the Defias in Westfall and then heading up through the Wetlands with our lower level characters ... right?

That's what I'm thinking. If we're in a bigger hurry to get to Ashenvale and get to questing, we can just help you escort that Defias guy to the mine and then beat feet. Depends on whether Jon feels like getting our NE's ready for Deadmines or not right now - we could always do that on an off night too, maybe on a night when you can't play or something. We won't want to hit Deadmines until our early 20's IIRC.

ok. I'll probably be on around 9:30, though I can be on earlier if necessary. Call me if you're on before then.

Note that I don't know whether or not I can play tonight. It all depends on how well the final coat of sheetrock mud goes...

No problem -- I figured as much. I hope it goes well. :)
