I've started the first tentative steps to cleaning out the basement. One thing I realized is that I have a lot of tech junk: old monitors, graphics cards, hard drives, etc. I don't necessarily want to throw it out...is there a place I can take this stuff for actual recycling?

Re: Tech Recycling
Check with your local municipality; they typically have electronic recycling days a few times a year. Easton does, and I believe Bethlehem does as well. Lafayette College held its own earlier this year, and I got rid of a bunch of stuff from the basement.Lars Porsenna wrote:I've started the first tentative steps to cleaning out the basement. Definitely DON'T throw it out. It's not so much recycling as making sure a lot of *pretty toxic* materials go into a landfill.
Call Bethlehem's recycling center if you don't hear anything from Easton. They have a really big operation. Let me know if you need help finding a number, etc.
