As for mini's I doubt your going to see anything, unless a mini company got it. So that means Gamesworkshop, Privateer, or Wizkids (or whoever has the clix license). I don't think any of those are really high on the list though.
The Mongoose post had this to say:
The interesting thing is why our negotiations ended - another company beat us to it. We are not going to reveal who this is (you have heard of them), as that is their fanfare to blow. However, I am sure many will find it intriguing that the licence covers card games, RPGs, and... miniatures. Now, the company concerned is not known for its miniatures lines, which will probably put paid to my dream of 28mm multipart/multipose Stormtroopers.
IIRC how the WotC Star Wars license worked, they were required to publish products in all three lines or risk losing the license. I wouldn't be surprised if this one had similar wording; I imagine Lucasfilm would want the licenses tied up with someone who wasn't going to use them. I seem to remember Wizards releasing Saga Edition in the first place because they needed to keep publishing in order not to lose the more lucrative minis line. Or at least, that was the scuttlebutt.
