This guy is a mixed build, designed to get in the middle of things and be able to stay there.

good magical quip
stealthy, with +12 move and hide
good at getting into the middle of things with +9 Tumble (even w/armor)
Elusive combat style feat from Complete Warrior allows him to declare Dodge on an opponent and then he can negate that guys powerattack against him. Also when flanked by enemies, can cause their first attack to miss and hit the other opponent.
